My December…Canadian Tour, Ultra Dance 11
Well, it looks like I slacked a little on blogging during my Canadian tour. Sorry! I hit 7 cities in the last few weeks, including my usual spot in Toronto (This Is London). I learned that Canada in the winter is…very cold. -18 degrees (F) in Winnipeg! I actually wore Under Armor thermals that entire night was was just fine. I met a lot of cool people, and saw a lot of curling, which always seems to be on TV whenever I go up north. Thanks Canada, I’ll see everyone oooot and abooot next time, eh?
This month, I also completed work on my first ‘official’ label mix compilation. Ultra Records brought me on to do their Ultra Dance 11. Thanks Ultra for the opportunity to work on this. Technical note for all the DJ’s out there…when you listen to this mix, pay attention to the key and the overall flow. Whenever possible, I try to mix in key, with the help of one of my favorite programs, Mixed In Key (www.mixedinkey.com).
